CRAWFISH ORDERING PROCESS
To ensure the freshest product and a smooth pickup experience, please review our ordering guidelines below:
Payment Policy

New customers ordering 2 or more sacks are required to submit a 50% (of estimated weight) deposit via Venmo, Cash App, Apple Pay, or Zelle.

Orders under 2 sacks may be paid through one of the listed payment apps or with cash at pickup.

We do not currently accept credit cards.
ORDER
DEADLINES
​Pick up is available on Fridays and Saturdays ONLY.

For Friday live crawfish: Orders must be placed by Wednesday at 4:00 PM

Friday pickup: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM

For Saturday live crawfish: Orders must be placed by Thursday at 4:00 PM

Saturday pickup: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

These deadlines allow us to properly source and prepare your crawfish for peak freshness.
Important
If you place an order and are unable to pick it up, please notify us by text as soon as possible.

Pondering Farms does not recommend purging crawfish with salt. If you are purchasing field-run crawfish, they should arrive relatively clean but should not be purged. Attempting to purge crawfish can result in unnecessary death. Please note that we do not offer refunds for loss due to improper handling.
Purging Policy
All live crawfish sales are final.
Please note: Once you submit your order, we immediately place that order with our supplier and commit to purchasing your requested quantity. At that point, our vendor secures and guarantees the product for us and requires payment confirmation on our end.
Because we are financially committed for the full cost per sack once the order is placed, we are unable to cancel or refund live crawfish orders.
We appreciate your understanding, as this policy allows us to ensure availability and maintain the highest quality product for our customers.
